The bolts all came undone relatively easy, compared to reported issues with the heel board ones. So it looks like the hammerite under seal my dad did 35yrs ago did something…

…Just not enough to warrant keeping this subframe. It’s a 50/50 call to save it but time shot blasting, welding, treating & painting isn’t worth the £259 I got a powder coated Magnum replacement for. 

Strip it down and use the swing arms, the rest is scrap!
